What should I write my philosophy paper on?

I need help choosing a topic for my philosophy paper!

The topic should be some aspect of, or related to, those philosophy of science topics we have been considering [which fall mainly under three questions; 1) the nature of science/pseudo-science, scientific knowledge of a culture, time and prevailing scientific consensus; 2) the nature of scientific discovery, its relation to scientific knowledge of a culture, time, and prevailing scientific consensus; 3) the question of realism-does the relativity of a scientific knowledge undermine the scientific notion of reality? Are the there “alternative realities” corresponding to the varieties of human beliefs about the nature of “the world?”] But I don%26#039;t know what to pick! Can you help me out?

Thanks a bunchers! ^_^

Look up String theory. Although extremely complicated it raises good questions is not short in giving details and explanations. It is the theory of multiple dimensions. Also look up branes as in %26quot;membranes%26quot;. Both provide an interesting topic to discuss, and both are extremely thought provoking and will raise many questions with you and your classmates/ teacher. I guess this could go under number 3.

For number 2. I%26#039;ve been reading a book written by John Dewey called %26quot;How We Think%26quot;. It breaks down the mundane acts we go through into a detailed and self revealing book about what actually happens when we think.

There has to be a paper in the social experiment that is the Yahoo Answers philosophy site. Think about it. How many people ask, %26quot;What is the meaning of life?%26quot; on a daily basis on this site. They don%26#039;t go and read over the hundreds of posts already written on the subject. They have the need for collective approval for their thoughts or seek permission and direction from complete strangers. In the past a teacher of philosophy had to build a reputation and be vetted by a school. Here we are a faceless group with no known credentials and reputation and yet become an addiction to unknown numbers of people.

There has just got to be a paper in this phemonena!
Reply:The theory of other minds. How is it that you can know that I am actually a human being talking to you? How do you know that your brain is not off in some vat in some alien lab? It is an interesting theory, and makes for a great paper topic!
Reply:I see alot of good subjects here. But they forgot one of the most controversial topics of all.RELIGION.Y are there so many religions in the world. Were is the proof of any god? Were is the proof that he dosent exist?Y do some believe and some do not?Religion is a very controversial topic.
